Why did you redesign again?
The last design was created in about two hours, and it was incredibly far from perfect. It was difficult to organize, the colors were bad, and it really didn't have much of a mystical wizardy feeling. I wanted to make something that was just a bit more fun to look at, easier to navigate, and so on.

Can I be a columnist?
Keep checking the main page for an announcement that we're hiring columnists, but until that announcement is up, no. Sorry, it's a very long process to hire someone and right now we just don't have the time.

Do you pay your columnists?
Nope, it's entirely voluntary and unpaid.

Do you ever fire columnists?
Yes, but in the entire history of the Daily Prophet, only one person has been fired. It was because of inappropriate conduct, and devious actions. Other than that, I won't give any details.

Has Warner Brothers ever sent you a threatening email?
Not of the sort where they wanted me to hand over my domain name, no. Other than that, can't say.

What happened to Harry Potter and the Idolatry of Yore?
A few months ago I released chapter 33, which I was NOT happy with at all because it was entirely melodramatic and didn't illustrate what I had in mind. So, I advised readers to disregard it and I'd rewrite it. However, at that time I fell incredibly ill with a brain infection in my right frontal lobe, which controls the ability to communicate in any shape or form -- that included writing. At the time, I was writing at about a third grade level. It became entirely frustrating and depressing, so I decided IofY had to wait. There was no sense in throwing away an entire year of work by writing a really bad ending.
I've just now fully recovered from the brain infection, but it's been a very long time since I've written anything involving Harry Potter. I'm still trying to get back into the mood. It's been a really hard year so far and even though I'm dying to finish the book, I have to take things slowly. I can't risk my mental capabilities again by over-stressing myself.

A few of the links on the page don't work, what's up with that?
The page isn't perfect yet. I haven't had much time to work on it and a few pages seem to have slipped through the cracks. They'll be back up soon.

What's the link on the menu, 'HP Guide', all about?
You'll just have to wait and see. :) I did tell you the DP would be expanding.

What's that picture of on the new logo?
That's a picture of some castle in Scotland, I don't know which one. I figured Scotland would be good since that's where Hogwarts is, so I went with it.

You don't really make the pages, do you?
Yup, I make all of the pages here on the DP. Every single one of 'em.

Now that your Coeditor left, will you be looking for a new one?
Nope.
