The Sites of the DProphet.com

The Daily Prophet: The cournerstone of the entire operation, the Daily Prophet is run as an online newspaper from the perspective of the wizarding world in the Harry Potter books. Children (and yes, even a few adults) are employed by the paper, and taught essential writing skills while enjoying the ambience of magic.

Calculo: Sometimes jokingly referred to by our webmistress as a "glorified 'what to read after Harry Potter' list", Calculo is an online collection of book reviews, author information, classic literature, essays, and online resources for teachers and parents. Our hope in creating this website is that the readers of Harry Potter would challenge their reading abilities by moving upward from the Harry Potter series, to classic works of literature.

Soon, the Daily Prophet will release a Harry Potter guide, including extensive photo & illustration galleries, information about the Harry Potter books, theories about future installments in the series, and much more!

The Defense Against the Dark Arts: Originally the headquarters of a mighty boycott against heavy-handed oppression against innocent fan websites, DADA has since been turned into a fan protection and education agency, with an emphasis on teaching young webmasters the legal necessities to save themselves from legal misunderstandings with trademark and copyright holders.

The Idolatry of Yore: An original work of Harry Potter fan fiction by our webmistress Megora McGonagall. Orginally meant to be a summer feature, it was so beloved by fans that we decided to keep it as a permanant feature.
