Meg McGonagall, the webmistress and Editor in Chief of the
Daily Prophet, has loved to write for as long as she can remember. Her first
writing award came at the age of seven for a short story she wrote called
"A Knight and His Armor." In January of 2000 she began her first novel, Harry
Potter and the Idolatry of Yore, but didn't complete it until just over two
years later. She has enjoyed writing about Harry Potter, but has since moved
on to other subjects. She's currently working on a novel, "(In)sane", which
she calls an exploration of the psychological effects of trauma. Although
this will not be published on the Internet, she hopes to have it published
when it's completed, but, she says, "There's no telling when that will be."
