Hubble, hubble, hubble!

Thanks to Dan, I've gotten to see some of the photos from the Hubble! Hoorah! I think this one's my favorite, although there's also this one - which for some reason makes me think of those little caramel creme candies. Can't you see the creme center? All this money NASA's wasted, just to find out that Mars is really Brach's largest candy concoction ever...

I've added a place to my list of "Places I Want to Go": The Chinati Foundation in Marfa, Texas. It looks like fun. Loads of insane minimalist design housed in an old, old, old Army base. I saw it on an arts show a few weeks ago; it looks like fun. Wanna come with me? No one else I know seems to want to go, but I think it's fascinating. I think we should organize a little Marfa Party and drive down as one big hubbly group. Sounds like fun, doesn't it? Posted by Heather at August 29, 2003 02:41 PM | TrackBack

Sounds like fun to me, but I'm probably a bit out of the way to join you. Your discovery of Mars' candy origin explains a lot.
